Surveyor-in-Training (SIT):
Description:
Seeking Surveyor-in-Training to assist RPLS with boundary surveys, elevation certificates, metes and bounds descriptions and other duties related to boundary surveys, etc. Benchmark engineering offers an excellent environment for motivated employees to learn and earn boundary experience that will help SIT’s to pass the RPLS exam.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Possess a Surveyor-in-Training Certificate from the State of Texas, or within 1-year of qualifying to take the SIT exam
- basic knowledge of Autocad Civil3d
- Field Experience with Trimble or Leica GPS and Total Stations
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of “Dignity of Calls” and “Junior Senior rights” principles.
- Ability to perform and present boundary analysis to present to RPLS.
- Ability to draft metes and bounds descriptions.
